You can change the default distance units in Settings . See Change the language and region on iPad. In Find My on iPad, change map settings to adjust the map’s appearance or switch between miles and kilometers.
Click Screen Distance, then turn it on. When you hold the screen too close to your face for an extended period, Screen Distance covers the screen with an alert, preventing you from continuing. When you move your iPhone or iPad more than 12 inches away, you can tap Continue to resume using it.
