Requests for records in the custody of the Clerk of Court for Jefferson Parish must be sent to the following: Frank Borne, Chief Deputy Clerk. Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court. P.O. Box 10. Gretna, Louisiana 70054-0010. Court staff must search, retrieve and review the specified records.
Court Background. The Parish Courts are of limited jurisdiction handling civil claims up to $20,000 (effective August 15, 2001), misdemeanors, traffic violations, and violations of Jefferson Parish ordinances.
