To reduce the transmission of COVID-19 in Hawaii and avoid unmanageable strain on our healthcare system, Governor David Ige enacted a mandatory 14-day traveler quarantine and passenger verification process for those traveling to or between the Hawaiian Islands.

Travelers may elect to take a pre-travel COVID-19 NAAT from a state of Hawaiʻi Trusted Testing and Travel Partner within 72 hours of departing on the last leg of their trip to Hawaiʻi. To avoid the state’s mandatory five-day self-quarantine, the negative test result must be uploaded prior to departure of the last leg.
