3 lip 2012 · Below the shadowed, scalloped lace tape was the straight edge of the skirt. Entredeux was worked along the scallops with the left reaches of the stitch pattern catching the edge of the tape. The holes are positioned beside the tape and the opposite reach goes into the fabric below the scallops.

Here is a strip of entredeux before sewing, shown with the fabric I used for S’s Butterfly Blouse. The solid edges that align the entredeux are the seam allowances, which will get trimmed after sewing.
8 mar 2012 · Use a cotton organdy, batiste, or a similar lightweight fabric, 60-weight cotton thread, cording, and the Wing needle. The cording raises the outer edges of the stitching. If your stitches begin to pucker, place appropriate-weight stabilizer under the fabric strip.

30 wrz 2013 · Remove lace from board and place trimmed edge of entredeux and gathered lace header side by side, right sides up with edges touching. Length should be adjusted so left swing of zigzag hits as many consecutive holes in entredeux as possible.
20 sie 2010 · Do not cut the entredeux larger to fit your neck edge, if the neck edge is too large. If the neck edge is larger than your correct entredeux measurement, pull up the staystitch thread to ease the neck in to fit the entredeux.
17 paź 2019 · Using the single Entredeux, trim the batiste edge off one side and attach to a lace side of the Fancy Band. Use simular machine settings. The Length will still be 1 but the Width may be a little narrower at 1.9.
