The villages are all just minutes apart from one another, and trains frequently run, especially from spring to fall. A one-way ticket between two destinations costs 4 euros (as of May 2020).

20 kwi 2022 · Hiking to the Towns of Cinque Terre The second way you can visit all of the towns is by hiking between them. There is a spectacular hiking trail that connects the villages, and while most of it is free to visitors, you must buy a pass to hike the most popular parts of the trail.

Some visitors choose to base in one of these two towns and make day trips into the Cinque Terre. The coastline between Portovenere and Cinque Terre is actually a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
