Snapping to geometry could be activated for better accuracy or to measure wall thickness. The Measure tool can be accessed from the Toolbar. Examples of the Measure tool.

23 lis 2016 · There is an add_on called caliper (see this on how to download and install) designed to measure things in blender. Very simple to use: it has two empties that you can position and it creates a text with the distance.
Either import it directly into Blender, or if you wish do some cleanup in Inkscape and remove unwanted or unneeded parts. You can then easily extrude buildings directly as curve or convert to mesh for more complex or detailed modelling.

19 paź 2020 · Change the font size or change the alignment setting. The link option tool lets you get the distance between two different objects. Lets get the distance between the hand rail and the end of the stairs.
11 sie 2022 · Set the measurement tool's ruler to an exact length of 0.045 0.045 meters, as it insists on literally any value above or below. Snap the selected rectangle on the left to an exact distance of 0.045 0.045 meters from the edge of the other object.
