While enter Time in cells, the Time must according to 24 Hrs Clock, for example 15:30 for 03:30 PM, since cells has TIME Format HH:MM AM/PM.

I know the calculation is (distance/time)*60 to get the minutes but Excel gives me a decimal number. It sounds like all you need to do is format your calculation cells/column to custom format: mm:ss. And for the running total, use format: [h]:mm:ss
10 lut 2003 · To calculate a time, I use (distance*60)/speed and get the resultant time in minute but how can I format the display to show it in hours:mins:secs. eg.. for 60mins, I'd like it to display 01:00:00. for 90min, I'd like it to display 01:30:00. Assistance greatly appreciated.

26 mar 2016 · You can get the correct difference in minutes using MOD function, e.g. to get 10 for a 10 minute difference and 71 for one hour 11 minutes you can use this formula [revised] =MOD(B1-A1,1)*1440. format result cell as general. Use of MOD function ensures that will work even when the time gap passes midnight.
