1 maj 2020 · If this issue were addressed by the addition of a new “Ruler” tool, it would be a lot easier to measure the distance between 2 surfaces without needing to spawn a part in and use the properties tool.
You can calculate the length of a path, running route, fence, border, or the perimeter of any object that appears on a google map. The distance calculator will then display a measurement of the length in feet, meters, miles and kilometers.
ridewithgps.com is a good, no-frills way of mapping out a run. It has Google maps embedded so you can plot by map or by satellite. You can toggle to follow the roads or just plot a line on your own.
I use google maps on the computer. Right-click and select “measure distance” then you can click along your route. I use this all the time to help plan my routes.
