31 sty 2024 · Note that most cadets (and midshipmen) do not attend summer seminars. It is a small program so do not be disappointed if you are not invited. The good news is that you have initiated your application by applying to AFASS. Another great way to 'see' the Academy is by attending one of the USAFA summer sports camps.

3-Weeks. (15 Jul – 5 Aug 2023) Academic, military training, and airmanship/aviation core requirements are offered during summer term. All cadets will complete two military training programs per summer. Specific requirements vary by cadet class.

Specially designed for high school juniors heading into their senior year, Summer Seminar is a recruiting program that allows participants to see themselves as a U.S. Air Force Academy cadet. This program is highly competitive, and there are a limited number of spaces available.
