I had a US Airways account and apparently I missed any opportunity to link my existing AAdvantage account number and a new AAdvantage account was opened with my US Airway miles. Is there any way to combine the two accounts?
3 cze 2020 · I used the form on AA.com to retrieve her AAdvantage account number, but it appears that form created her a duplicate AAdvantage account instead of retrieving her existing AAdvantage account. She will be coming over here on June 7, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help merge the two accounts.
9 kwi 2015 · Input the information for the account you want merged into the AAdvantage account you are keeping. While logged into the AAdvantage account you are keeping, you will enter the AAdvantage account (former US Airways account) that you want merged into your old existing AAdvantage account.

If you call AAdvantage customer service they can merge the two accounts for you. I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it online too but I'm not sure where to point you. Source: the recording tells me EVERY DAMN TIME I call AA customer service. Great, thanks!
Yes. There’s a form for it, or call AAdvantage. It won’t affect your ability to fly, as long as you use the right name when you buy the ticket. You may not get advantage benefits if there’s a mismatch though.
