The Division of Taxation operates a centralized collection facility known as the Central Collection Agency (CCA). The purpose of the CCA is to collect municipal income tax for the City of Cleveland and any other municipalities that wish to join the tax agency for purposes of administering their municipal income tax ordinances.
If you’d like a CCA team member to complete your municipal income tax return, please fill out the “CCA Division of Taxation – Taxpayer Assistance Form”, found on the Tax Forms page of this website. Delivery options for this form are found on the bottom of the first page.
Those under 18 for all or part of the tax year may apply for a refund of the employment tax withheld in any CCA city (See paragraph 1 of “Who Must File” regarding exclusions). A City Tax Form Refund Worksheet is required and may be obtained at www.ccatax.ci.cleveland.oh.us.
