3 cze 2022 · Cabin and seat. American's premium economy cabin aboard the 777-200 consists of three rows laid out in a 2-4-2 configuration for a total of 24 seats. In addition to the bulkhead walls, there are curtains separating the cabin from business class, but not from regular economy.
If within your budget, I would go for business seats with full recline. Premium Economy gives you more recline and leg room, plus leg rests that prop your feet up a bit. However they don't elevate your feet to the point of avoiding the swelling as a lie flat seat would. And Seattle to Tanzania is a lot of hours in those seats. Edited: 1 year ago
Premium Economy shouldn't be considered Business class light, but a step up from bog standard Economy. Depending on the carrier and configuration some PE seats have leg and foot rests, but those are not a guarantee of anything approaching a lie flat seat, especially as there isn't a guarantee that the leg rests will operate as expected.

18 paź 2018 · The seats are light-years ahead of regular economy seats, the business-class menu is served (using real silverware and plates) and the price difference between Comfort and Economy is generally very small.
8 gru 2022 · I have recently tried both UA and AA premium economy across the Atlantic and agree with this take on AA’s superior product. The seats are both similar and equal IMO but the service was distictly a cut above, closer to business class on AA while the service on UA was connected to the economy service.
