About 12yrs ago I moved from Toronto to Vancouver, and took VIA rail as my way to get across the country. Got myself a single sleeper cabin, full meal plan. My company paid the fare, but If I recall, it was something like $1800-$2100 total at the time. The cabin was interesting.
