I’ve heard that notability requires other additional purchases, which imo is a deal breaker for me. I think the only thing that notability had on GoodNotes was the feature that allowed you to record the lecture audio in real time and you could go back to different points in the recording and see exactly what you wrote.
Notability: Pros: More tools than GoodNotes. Better handwritten math formulae recognition. v12 provides favourite feature which is very handy to use. Cons: It’s more expensive than Goodnotes. v14 looks elegant but it actually ruined the noting experience because a simple operation in old version may needs more taps now.
