This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. If that's already set then you may have bought a PC that has S mode, which only allows Store apps to be installed.

The developers of Zoom have an app version on the Microsoft Store, open the Store app and search for Zoom and you will find that app, it an be installed on Windows in S Mode. .
25 mar 2020 · I’m trying to get my daughter set up for online school zoom calls. I don’t want to switch her computer out of S mode, but when I try to run zoom through Microsoft edge it won’t allow me to use computer audio. She doesn’t have a cell phone to call. Is there a way to enable computer audio through the web browser version of Zoom?

25 maj 2020 · I would like to download Zoom onto this 2019 Lenovo IdeaPad240 bought at staple store. Windows Defender 10 blocks ALL downloads ("… has a virus and was deleted...") I've tried every way I can find to shut off Windows 10 Defender. Upon downloading, I STILL get that same action. MS chat was not helpful. Staples tech geek couldn't figure it out.

Hello Chris, My Name is Paul one of the Community Advisor and a Microsoft Consumer like you and there's a way for you to be able to use the ZOOM Web Based application and you need to download first the new Microsoft Edge Chromium form the Microsoft Store and here's the guide to setup your ZOOM to your browser.

How to use Zoom in Windows 10 S mode? - ITExperience.NET. If you try Zoom out of the Store, please let us know if it is the real Zoom or some scam.
