Double click on the DEB file to open and install with the Ubuntu Software Center, or from the command line with: sudo dpkg -i whatsapp-webapp_1.0_all.deb. Select WhatsApp from your Dash or Applications menu to start.
22 kwi 2021 · "WhatsApp messages on computer without a mobile phone" , install anbox if you r on linux , you can also go for androidx86 install in virtualbox if you want the full experience and you can even install a full os like remix os on either virtualbox, or in dual boot(i recommend you anbox,cause you just need to use whatsapp, you can find many manuals on web on how to install it )
28 sty 2019 · I don't use any Whatsapp client on Ubuntu, but from my computer I use Whatsapp web: https://web.whatsapp.com. It's an official Whatsapp web site meaning as trustable as Whatsapp phone app. There are plenty of Firefox extensions that work with it. There is also whatsdesk, an unofficial client for Ubuntu.

31 gru 2021 · There is still no way to install a native Linux application for whatsapp, so I always use whatsapp's webapp with my daily browser (chromium based brave-browser). Everything works [mostly] fine, except when I need to click on a whatsapp link in a web site, that is supposed to open a conversation with a certain new cell phone number.
14 maj 2019 · In the WhatsApp Web tab: right-click and select “Inspect”. click the vertical dots button on the top right. click “More tools” → “Network conditions”. on the bottom at “User Agent”, uncheck “Select automatically”. from the dropdown list directly below choose “Chrome — Windows”.
To do this in Ubuntu 16.04 (and if I remember correctly is exactly the same in Ubuntu 14.04), just go to "System Settings" -> "Network" -> "Proxy", and delete (left in blank) the socks server line and left port in 0. You don't need to apply this -system wide-, just in the user you want to authenticate in Whatsapp Web.
