Marcus Scott Chong (né Wyatt; born July 8, 1967) [1] is an American actor. He played Miguel Mendez in the crime drama, Street Justice (1991–1993), real-life activist Huey P. Newton in Panther (1995), directed by Mario Van Peebles, and Tank in The Matrix (1999), directed by The Wachowskis.

Marcus Chong began as a child actor in Roots: The Next Generations (1979) as Frankie Warner where he met Alex Haley. He then went on to work on Little House on the Prairie (1974), starring Michael Landon. As a young adult, he appeared on Broadway in "Stand Up Tragedy", and won a Theater World Award.
10 paź 2023 · Marcus Chong, who played Tank in The Matrix, sued Warner Bros. for breach of contract and was arrested for threatening the Wachowskis. He was written out of the sequels and has made controversial claims against the franchise ever since.
