7 lis 2011 · MGM and Fox present David Lynch’s Blue Velvet in its original aspect ratio of 2.35:1 on this dual-layer disc in a new 1080p/24hz transfer. I was previously fairly pleased with the DVD’s presentation but this new Blu-ray still manages to offer a significant improvement. Lynch apparently looked over this transfer and I think that shows overall.

3 lis 2004 · Update: I have gotten confirmation that the Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart DVD should be identical to the existing releases with the exception that Blue Velvet will be getting a brand new 5.1 re-mix for 2008 which will be done by David. I'm surprised as the previous one sounded pretty good but maybe they found additional elements for this one.
15 lis 2021 · Though Lynch told him to do the espresso bit, Badalamenti actually based the character on a person he once met, and he shares this rather odd story here. Running 19-minutes it’s another wonderful addition. [Parts of this same interview also show up in Criterion's edition for Blue Velvet.]
