I generally avoid bringing the bus into the city and park it either in the far north suburbs (IL state beach park in Zion) or in (Paul wolf campground) in Elgin. Campgrounds are pricey but they give you a lot of peace of mind.
My goal would be to spend a decent amount of time in the Chicago area, specifically Evanston and Oak Park. Am I insane for thinking thats possible?
