Looking at buying a 1911 builders kit with the military slide. Wondering what frames would work for this that are readily available? Caspian Arms has a sister company for their blems called Fosters Industries. Btw those sarco kits, they are ok to build with but don't have high expectations.
22 kwi 2022 · Builders kits are mostly sold out, especially if you want a commander sized or smaller. I've looked and it's difficult to find kits for under a grand, and sometimes not even those. I've accepted that I'm going to pay a bit of a premium for many of the parts or have to go lower quality for my builds.
29 paź 2021 · Has anyone used the Sarco 1911 parts kits for a build? I just ordered a Caspian frame for my first build and this kit seemed fairly priced. Just looking for insight on what to expect.
26 lis 2013 · THE KIT IS ONLY $135! You get everything you need except a frame and slide; All the parts can be cleaned up and blued; Spoiler alert! If you know how to fit a barrel and give it the right lock up it has a PHENOMENAL accuracy! I KID YOU NOT! To test the kit without buying a new frame and slide, I used my Colt Gold Cup frame, and a 1911 A1 slide.
18 paź 2005 · Has anyone purchased one of these? 1911 .45, Auto Builders Kit - All parts (Less Frame & Slide) product # C45095. I realize they have surface rust and may have other blemishes and all parts will need to be fitted, but are the part's all good to go or is this a junk basket buy?
