26 mar 2022 · 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused. Maybe reinstall to different directory than "Program Files" will help?
1 sie 2010 · I uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game, installed the 1.2.0416 patch, Installed the autopatcher, and now, when i run the patch, its saying "Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file updates do not match."
3 lip 2015 · Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll and the Data folder to your Oblivion directory. This is usually "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\oblivion". (Ugh, hopefully NOT in Program Files)
5 kwi 2010 · It sounds like OBSE is not installed in the same folder as Oblivion.exe. Right click on your Oblivion desktop shortcut and select "Properties". A window will open with three tabs at the top name "General", "Shortcut" and "Compatibility".
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
8 paź 2019 · Go to your Oblivion folder, which should be under Program Files (x86)>Steam>Steamapps>common. Once in your Oblivion folder find Oblivionlauncher.exe. Right click on that and make sure you're NOT running it as an administrator.
2 lut 2022 · There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found. Find launcher_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse_loader.exe
