  2. 28 mar 2016 · Police wheels are 7". Ramcharger and Aspen RT wheels aka super coupe wheels were 8" I believe too. Same look. The 8" wheels are quite rare. They are 4.25" backspacing along with all other mopar 15x7 steel rims. Not so slo anymore!

  3. 15 lis 2017 · If you go from a 7" wide wheel to an 8" wide wheel and you want the centerline of the wheel to remain in the same spot, you keep the same offset because the offset measurement is independent of wheel width. But if you use backspace and change the wheel width the backspacing must also change to keep the centerline in the same place.

  4. 20 sie 2017 · It looks like everyone is using 5 inch backspace wheels. Wheel Vintiques offers the mopar cop wheel in a 5.5 backspace. Will the 5.5 backspace clear the inner wheel house or is the 5 inch backspace the only way to go?

  5. 24 sty 2009 · A 7" wide wheel needs to have 4 1/4" backspacing to fit an A-body correctly. A 6" wide wheel can be 3 3/4" backspacing. Both are 1/4" positive offset. To determine offset from backspacing take the wheel width (which is measured on the inside where the tire bead seats) add 1" for the inner and outer rim portion (a 7" wheel is 8" to the outside).

  6. 16 maj 2004 · I have been told that either of those wheels will fit my Volare. However I am really wanting to get some Aluminum wheels to shed some weight. So I was wondering if anyone had ever measured the back spacing on them.
