Its expansive focal range is extremely versatile, and it's capable at everything from portraits to close-ups – and super close-ups, too, as Its Center Focus Macro mode facilitates 0.5x shooting at 13cm when shooting at 24mm with manual focus.

2 mar 2024 · This Sony FE 70‑200mm f/4 Macro G OSS II is a smaller, lighter and much closer-focussing version of Sony's previous FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS. It's sharp, small, light, usually replaces a separate macro lens and focuses remarkably quickly, even between macro and distant subjects.
30 cze 2020 · While the RF 24~105mm f/4L is built tougher and stays at f/4 all the way to 105mm, this STM f/4-7.1 lens is much lighter, has closer macro focussing and is less than half the price. The RF 24-105mm f/4L is a little sharper in the corners wide-open at 24mm, but not enough to notice.
19 sty 2021 · The lens uses a direct drive SSM (linear-type) focus motor and has a 0.38m minimum focusing distance. It’s one of the lighter of its type at 663 grams (23.4 oz) and is available now for around $1,200/1,350€.
24 wrz 2022 · The 25mm f/4 was the least expensive wide-angle lens for the Pen F system. It would have formed a standard set along with the 38mm f/1.8 standard lens and 100mm f/3.5 telephone lens for many Pen F owners. On the half-frame cameras it was designed for it has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 35mm.
It’s basically equivalent to an f2-f/4 m43 zoom, but it’s meaningfully smaller than the Tamron 28-200 and the Nikon Z 24-200. Richard Wong has good size comparisons in his video. For the way I shoot, a lens like this is something I would add to complement a fast prime anyway, so the size and weight savings matter.
