Open the Chrome Web Store. Find and select the extension you want. Select Add to Chrome. Some extensions will let you know if they need certain permissions or data. To approve, select Add extension. Important: Make sure you only approve extensions that you trust. To use the extension, select the icon to the right of the address bar.
By default, the Chrome Web Store service is turned off in some Education domains. For details about turning on Chrome Web Store service for users, see Additional Google services. Note: Even if Chrome Web Store service is turned off, force-installed apps and extensions continue to automatically install and users can still sideload extensions.
There are 4 ways you can publish app and extensions in the Chrome Web Store: Public—Everyone can see and install the app or extension. Unlisted—Only users with the app or extension link can see and install it. The app doesn’t appear in the Chrome Web Store search results. You can share the app or extension link with users outside your domain.
The Chrome Web Store will show available items based on your Chrome browser language and location. To see featured content and paid items in local currency, click Settings . Click your language and country.
This article applies to Chrome for Windows and Mac only. With your permission, extensions you install from the Chrome Web Store can make changes to your Chrome settings. Most changes enhance your browsing experience and make using the extension easier. Changes can affect settings such as your homepage, new tab page, search engine, or start page.

Note: Some built-in webpages on Chrome can't be adjusted, like the Chrome Web Store, the New Tab page, and the Chrome settings page. To use the extension: To turn on the extension, to the right of the address bar, click High Contrast . To adjust images and text on the page, click High Contrast .
Contact the developer of the app, extension, or theme: Open the Chrome Web Store. At the top right, click Settings My Extensions & Apps. Click the app, extension, or theme. In the box that appears, at the top, click Support. Fill out the "Tell the Developer" form, or click the link to go to the developer's website.
If you need to use a disabled extension, you can contact the extension’s developer and ask them to upload their extension to the Chrome Web Store. This will allow you, and other people who use Chrome, to install that extension from the Chrome Web Store, or if you already have it installed, to manually re-enable it from your list of extensions.
To add a Chrome Web Store app that costs money, click Add and choose Add Chrome app or extension by ID. Note: This option is not available for Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals customers.
