Book 3 is a masterpiece and hits way higher highs than the show does at all its key plot points. Still, having been spoiled from the show, most of it you will find is quite similar. The things that are different start to make the book better.
Does each current Game of Thrones season roughly equal one A Song of Ice and Fire book? And do we know which future seasons will cover which books? I am planning to read the first book after the TV show has finished depicting the events in the first book.
3 lip 2024 · Whether you loved to hate despicable characters, or mourned the loss of the many who died over the course of the series, there's no denying that every season of the show was memorable.
The first three books are exceptional, especially the third. It shows how different people play the game of thrones. Being honorable and righteous will not make you win in this kind of game. What I liked about it is the point-of-view of each characters.
Season 4 is my absolute favorite because of all the memorable moments (the Purple Wedding, Tyrion’s trial, the duel with the Mountain, the death of Tywin and, my favorite episode of the series, The Watchers on the Wall). Season 8 is the worst, but in my opinion still an OK season.
