16 mar 2021 · MySQL usually needs to perform a full-table scan to identify records matching your query. Full-text queries use a specially created index to improve performance. This also enables MySQL to keep track of the words within your dataset, facilitating the natural language search.
Full-text searching is performed using MATCH() AGAINST() syntax. MATCH() takes a comma-separated list that names the columns to be searched. AGAINST takes a string to search for, and an optional modifier that indicates what type of search to perform.
Run tests by keyword expressions. pytest -k "MyClass and not method". This will run tests which contain names that match the given string expression (case-insensitive), which can include Python operators that use filenames, class names and function names as variables.
