It’s quite frustrating because I have watched gameplay of this game and it looks like an amazing game, but I cannot play it because of the lag/frame rate. Also every time it comes to the loading screen with the controls, it either takes an hour or just crashes. Please inform me on what to do.
If you have the game running on a hard drive with a relatively low read/write speed it can cause the game to freeze and stop responding. If this is the case, run the game on the local disk or a disk that has a high enough read/write rate.
To find out if this is the case, there is something you can try: Reset your computer and launch only Yandere Sim, without launching any other programs – then see if the game still crashes.

Make sure you have enough free ram, such as closing applications (such as chrome as it's ram hungry), and at least 6GB of ram minimum installed to run the game, you can find out by going into task manager.
16 mar 2024 · It’s possible that this bug is happening because the game is loading some save data that is not supposed to exist. To fix the bug, you could try resetting your Yandere Simulator save data. I’ll explain the process below. From the Main Menu, access the Content Checklist. On the Content Checklist screen, press the “R” key.
