10 sty 2020 · 4. You can use the options located in the sidebar (click on a small tab in the right side to open it). You can send special keys, like Ctrl+Alt+Del or Print Screen. Ahh the SIDEBAR!
3 maj 2017 · Linux: The host process is a normal Linux service, so you can restart it by typing this in your SSH session: sudo service chrome-remote-desktop restart. You should only have to wait a few seconds before it's ready for you to try connecting. Windows, run these commands to restart the service (thanks @JohnLock): net stop chromoting.
I assume you're referring to (Windows) RDP, and not to Chrome Remote Desktop. This might still work, but it seems to require configuring two separate remote desktop solutions. It might be better simply to use Windows RDP instead. –
22 sie 2022 · 5. I too tried changing the ACPI lid to use the "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" but that didn't work. What did work was when I went to control panel - Device Manager - Display adapters then Right Clicked and selected 'Disable Device' for my display adapter. This allowed me to use Chrome Remote Desktop with the lid closed.
