2 paź 2024 · I had the same issue with the pre release download and the 9s trick didn’t work but i disabled my firewall and that helped a lot. I have never had any issues downloading anything from battle.net before until this release and we shouldn’t have to disable our firewalls to get a decent download speed. What is going on with Blizzard? smh
4 kwi 2024 · yep, seems like battle.net really is not the best choice for gaming, its frustratig tha everytime you eant to just sit and play there is another 94 GB update that takes hours to download. Just WOW. Battle.net managed to make gaming horribly painful.
7 paź 2024 · Totally forgot to pre-install the expansion. Opened bnet to do so and everything was going great. However, I have been stuck at 35% downloaded now for at least 30 minutes. The speed is stuck around 10KB/S. I have checked/changed/turned off download limits. Have tried pausing and restarting, Tried closing and reopening Bnet, and have tried every server my VPN allows. idk what is going on 🙁

I have done many things like cache removal, putting in the Direct X 11 instead of 12 (-d3d11) prompt, closing and reopening the client many times. Here is the problem: Why do I even have to do this? I do not care about foreign languages, and just want the game clients, as Blizzard has decided, in their infinite quest for more cash , to make the clients provided on your Battle.net account not work, unless you buy Reforged , which I do not want to do.
I have 250mb up/down, and just did a speedtest - it’s all working fine. So how come I can only download at 50kb-150kb/sec on the battle.net launcher?
