3 maj 2024 · You've probably have all ready heard, but if not, Roma Numismatics is closing as of the 24th of this month. It's too bad, but given the legal issues that have hung over the firm for over a year now, I guess it was inevitable.
21 sty 2019 · I have participated the first time in the auctions of Roma Numismatics and so far I am not very pleased. It started that I bid on this coin that I was interested in, however, later I noticed something odd about the coin and I suspected it looked tooled/modified. I sent an e-mail to them, no response back, but all of a sudden my bid is removed.
6 mar 2023 · Some major bidders (top collectors, public institutions) refrain from bidding for extremely rare and important coins auctioned by Roma, for they don't trust their catalogues, the alleged provenances, and suspect the sale could be found illegal some day. In London, Roma Numismatics employees (even Richard Beale himself probably) have been warned.
6 mar 2023 · Richard Beale, owner of ROMA Numismatics, pleads Guilty Auction Head Richard Beale pleads guilty to 2 counts of conspiracy and 3 counts of criminal possession at the New York Supreme Criminal Court on Aug 14, 2023. As I've stated before, Richard Beale and ROMA Numismatics STOLE 1,127 pounds sterling from me, a small US-based collector, in 2014.
21 sty 2019 · The coin I purchased from Roma Numismatics Lt. was my 1st experience with this company & It may be some time if I decide to patronize them again. Like the old cliche goes "the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing".
3 maj 2024 · The legend INVICTA ROMA AETERNA – ‘the unconquerable, eternal Rome’ and image of an enthroned Roma holding Victory vainly invokes the invincibility of the city of Rome and are laughably ironic, but reflect the desperate faith the besieged Romans felt in the invincibility of their historic capital.

6 mar 2023 · Roma Numismatics has cheated me out of 1,127 pounds sterling for 2 coins I bought from them at auction in 2014. You can read my Google review on the whole situation. They have the coins and they have the money and there's nothing I can do. Basically, if they haven't cheated you, you've been lucky. After I complained they banned me from their site.
19 sie 2019 · I recently won the provincial bronze coin pictured below from Roma Numismatics E-Sale 59. It was struck in the reign of Gordian III, AD 238-244, 34 mm, 26.43 gm, 6 h. The obverse inscription reads: IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG (Imperator Caesar Marcus Antonius Gordianus Augustus).
