5 gru 2020 · Death ward saves the polymorph form, but polymorph ends anyway. The player takes massive fall damage, let's say they take 120 points of fall damage. This damage exceeds the maximum health of the polymorph form. Death ward kicks in and prevents the polymorph form from ending, since instead of going to 0, it goes to 1 hit point.
23 cze 2021 · Carl has two instances of death ward active on him. Only the most recent one applies. Carl takes a hit that would drop him to 0 hit points. The active instance of death ward triggers, dropping Carl to 1 hit point instead and ending that instance of death ward. 2 lut 2022 · Why I say this is that wildshaping and polymorphing to something below 100 hp is instant death. However a well placed polymorph could be semi advantageous if someone dips below 100. Also spell casting in D&D is balanced so that it can be disabled if you stop vocal or somatic components so if you slap a pair of manacles on the lich and gag it, then you will completely disable it.
