Pluto is an emotionally powerful drama that also serves as a powerful anti-war anime. It’s very, VERY rare for an anime to make me tear up or almost tear up and Pluto was able to do it in just the first episode and then multiple times afterwards.

Pluto is adapting a story that already existed so the plot beats are set. That being said, if you don't like old school suspense, you may not like Monster. Its not set up to be super fast pased, and it takes about 4 or 5 episodes to set up the premise.
