TPWD offers a variety of passes: Texas State Parks Pass – for individuals and families. Texas Parklands Passports – for qualifying seniors, disabled persons, veterans, and gold star family members. Youth Group Annual Pass – for nonprofit youth groups of 13- to 17-year-olds.
Free entry. You get free entry to state parks for one year. Some parks do not charge an entry fee. Activity and camping fees still apply. This applies to you and your guests who are riding in the same noncommercial car or boat. The pass holder must be present and provide valid identification.
A Texas State Park Pass waives entrance fees to 80+ state parks for you and your same-vehicle guests (card holder must be present) for a full year. For details, go to Pass Details. You can only buy a park pass for yourself. To give an annual pass to someone else, please purchase a gift card instead.
