I received the mail-in rebate check from Hankook for the evo v12's I bought. When I deposited it into my bank account, the check was returned because of insufficient funds The bank charged me a return fee for the NSF check. What kind of scam is Hankook trying to pull?
25 wrz 2016 · WARNING: Hankook Rebate Scam. Just a heads up for anyone purchasing Hankook Evo tires and hoping to get a rebate. The Noble S1 tires I bought from Tirerack advertised an $80 rebate. I purchased the correct tires, within the correct timeframe, and sent in EXACTLY what was required for the rebate.
However, the whole "Great Hit Rebate" is a scam. Hankook told me I wasn't eligible for my mail in rebate because the reseller didn't put the tire size on the receipt. Even though I'm a returning customer, they would not help me in any way.
