The fraud unit told me that there were thousands of complaints against Consumer Cellular on the free month offer alone. Many more complaints were made about other aspects of their service.

Our understanding is that they use AT&T towers. We've had no problems with reception. Same service as former provider plus a brand new Iphone SE for half what it cost us through Verizon. We live where there is no Consumer Cellular store close so they walked us through transferring our phones and it was a success. Great company.
